What do I need to consider before using the pan for the first time?

For which types of stoves is the pan suitable?
Our Waidler pan is suitable for all types of stoves: induction, ceramic and gas.
Is the pan dishwasher safe?
No.
How do I care for my pan?
We recommend greasing the pan with a little olive oil and kitchen paper after each cleaning.
Wie brate ich meine Eisenpfanne richtig ein? (Eisenpfanne einbrennen Anleitung)
Das Einbraten ist essenziell für die natürliche Antihaftbeschichtung (Patina). Reinigen Sie die Pfanne zunächst gründlich mit heißem Wasser. Trocknen Sie sie ab und reiben Sie sie hauchdünn mit einem hitzebeständigen Öl (z.B. Leinöl oder Rapsöl) ein. Erhitzen Sie die Pfanne auf dem Herd oder im Backofen, bis das Öl zu rauchen beginnt. Lassen Sie sie abkühlen und wiederholen Sie den Vorgang bei Bedarf. Eine detaillierte Anleitung zum Einbraten der Eisenpfanne liegt jeder Bestellung bei.
Ist die handgeschmiedete Eisenpfanne für Induktion geeignet?
Ja, absolut! Da unsere Pfannen aus massivem Kohlenstoffstahl bestehen, sind sie stark magnetisch und somit hervorragend für Induktionsherde geeignet. Der dicke Boden sorgt dafür, dass sich die Pfanne bei korrekter, stufenweiser Erhitzung nicht verzieht.

Which payment method can I use?
You can pay with Paypal, Master and Visa cards, instant bank transfer or in advance.
If you prefer to pay in installments, you can also pay via PayPal.
Do you offer shipping outside of Germany within the EU?
Yes, we ship within the EU. Shipping costs €13.50.
Do you offer shipping to Switzerland?
Yes. Shipping costs are €26.50, including customs clearance.
Pan sold out - where can I still buy the Waidler pan?
If you've been interested in our pan for a while but haven't been able to get your hands on one yet, you're welcome to visit our partner store "Servus am Marktplatz" in Austria and purchase one of our Waidler pans.

Pan sold out - is it possible to order by email?
Unfortunately, ordering by email is not possible if the Waidler pan is sold out. Therefore, we ask that you simply visit our shop again within the next four weeks to place your order.
